With the aim of opening Tabakalera’s film program to the participation of other groups, the Why Not group UNIK had the opportunity to select a film for screening. The session on June 11, which was open to the public, was introduced by us, and we also led a discussion following the screening.
To organize this activity, we worked with filmmaker Lucía Montero throughout the six sessions of the workshop. During these sessions, we watched excerpts from several films, discussed them, and shared the ideas and emotions they evoked in us. Together, we ultimately chose to screen Many Children, a Monkey and a Castle, directed by Gustavo Salmerón.
