This year we took part for the first time in the big food drive organized by the Food Bank. This solidarity event mobilizes thousands of volunteers and donors across Gipuzkoa every year. Under the slogan ‘We give it our all,’ on November 7 we organized ourselves into three volunteer groups to be present at the designated collection points in most supermarkets and hypermarkets, sorting and organizing the donated products. In Gipuzkoa, more than 17,000 people depend on the Food Bank’s assistance to meet their basic needs.
