As part of the 7th edition of the Armada Cup–Vicente Munilla Memorial international regatta, we had the opportunity to take part in a sailing workshop with the Real Club Náutico de San Sebastián. The event is returning after 30 years since its last edition, with the race starting in Plymouth, where more than 150 sailors are expected to participate.
One of the new features of this edition is the intention to take the project beyond the sailing competition itself, with a programme open to all audiences. Developed in collaboration with stakeholders from the sports, cultural, and maritime sectors, the initiative aims to bring the sea and the culture of sailing regattas closer to the wider community.
